The Golden Wedding Anniversary

Photograph taken April 1904 at the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Emmons, of Emmons, Minnesota, who were married April 19, 1854 in Clinton, Wisconsin. The children in front are from left Lawrence Emmons, Victor Emmons, Maurice Olson, Lester Olson, and Ernie Emmons; Seated are Martha Emmons, Hattie Olson, Victoria Emmons, Karine Emmons, Myrtle Emmons, Clara Emmons, Glennie Olson, Mr. Henry G. Emmons, Mrs. H. G. (Kirsti) Emmons, George Emmons, Mrs. George (Esther) Emmons, Henry H. Emmons and Mrs. H. H. (Isabel) Emmons; Standing are Evelyn Emmons, Carl Emmons, Alma Emmons, Grace Emmons, Henrietta (Emmons) Isaacs, Charles Isaacs, Tina (Emmons) Olson, Lewis Emmons, Mrs. Lewis (Inger) Emmons, Hamlet Emmons, Art Emmons, Otto Olson and Harry Emmons; Standing at the rear, in the center of photo is Tina (Emmons) Olson (Mrs. George/Jørgen Olson), unlike moat of the other women who are dressed up, she is hatless, wearing a loose coat, and is probably VERY pregnant with Alice Olsen, her daughter who would be born 26 April 1904. She is the mother of all of the Olson children in the photo. Evidently, her husband George/Jørgen Olson/Olsen could not make the photo.
